Combination Lock Reset Instructions
Your combination lock comes factory preset at 0-0-0-0.
To open the lock:
- Locate the "Combo Marker" - the dash to the left of the number dials.
- Turn the number dials until your unlock combination code lines up with the Combo Marker.
- Pull the male end out of the lock.
To reset the lock and change the unlock combination code:
- Hold the combination housing in your left hand.
- Open the lock using the steps above.
- Locate the "Set Dial" - the dial to the right of the number dials.
- Turn the Set Dial clockwise, away from you, approximately a quarter turn.
- Set the number dials to your new unlock combination code.
- Turn the Set Dial counter-clockwise back to its original position.
- Your new unlock combination is set and ready for use.
Set dial doesn't move? The Set Dial will only turn once the lock is open. Complete step 2 above (open the lock) before trying to change the combination.
U-Lock Reset Instructions
Your U-Lock comes factory preset at 0-0-0-0.
To reset the U-Lock and set a new combination code:
- Set the combination dial to the unlock code.
- Press the unlock button, located on the left side of the barrel lock.
- Turn the reset dial, located on the right side, clockwise a quarter turn.
- Change the number dials to your desired code.
- Turn the reset dial counter-clockwise a quarter turn, back to its original position.
- Your new unlock combination is set.
